Short answer: time to afford = (price − cash you have) ÷ income per second. With one plain Kitsune at base weight ($1.8B/s) and no cash, the Lucky Block Treadmill ($75B) takes 41s and the Hacker Treadmill ($3T) takes 27m 46s. Type your own income below to see every upgrade at once.
How the time is worked out
Your pets pay out money every second. To buy an upgrade you need its price minus what you already have, and you earn that at your pen's income per second:

The answer assumes your income stays the same while you save. In practice it usually goes up, because you keep hatching and placing pets, so treat the time as an upper limit. It also ignores money you spend on eggs along the way.

Worked example
Your pen makes $5M per second and you have $20M. You want the Golden Treadmill, which costs $120M.
- Money still needed: $120M − $20M = $100M.
- Time: $100M ÷ $5M per second = 20 seconds.
- The next one, The Freeze Treadmill at $3B, needs $3B − $20M = $2.98B, which is 596 seconds, or 9m 56s.
Now with x2 Money: your income doubles to $10M/s, so both times halve: 10 seconds and 4m 58s.
The steps between treadmills get big quickly. Each one costs about 15 to 40 times the one before, so time to the next upgrade grows unless your income grows with it. That's why this page links to the weight and mutation calculators: a single heavier or mutated pet often cuts the wait more than anything else.
Common mistakes
- Counting the x2 gamepass twice. If the income you typed already includes it (for example it came from the pen calculator with x2 ticked), leave the box here unticked.
- Typing income per minute or per hour. This box wants money per second, the number your pen shows.
- Using units wrongly. Use K, M, B, T, Qa and Qi: 2.5B is 2,500,000,000. "Q" alone is ambiguous in some games; type Qa.
- Forgetting pets that aren't placed. Pets outside your pen don't earn. The pen calculator's slot setting handles this.

Yes. It doubles your income, so the time to any upgrade is halved, as long as you weren't already counting it.
