Updated · game data from the wiki as of 30 September 2026 · changelog

Short answer: your pen earns the sum, over every placed pet, of base income × size multiplier × mutations × boosts. The size multiplier is (weight ÷ base weight)37/60. With the x2 gamepass, two Rainbow + Bloom Foxes at base weight earn $2.7K/s and a 25,000 kg Dog earns $180.46/s: $2.88K/s together. Add your own pets below.

    Boosts and settings

The wiki disagrees with itself here. Golden + Rainbow is ×5 if they add, ×8.75 if they multiply. If you can check in game, pick the one that matches.

Mutation multipliers leave blank to use the wiki value

    3. How long until I can afford it?

Treadmill and trail prices are from the wiki (checked 2026-09-19). Uses the money per second from your pen.

    4. Fuse check: is fusing 3 pets worth it?

The Fuse Machine takes three of the same pet and gives back one egg of that pet. The game doesn't publish the odds, and nobody has shown that size or mutations carry over. This works out how big the new pet has to hatch to beat the three you give up.

Recipes from the wiki's Angels & Demons page and Game Rant (2026-09-23). At base weight with no mutations, both recipes lower your income, though they free up one pen slot. Size and mutations change the result.

    5. Compare two choices

Which earns more: this pet or that one? Three Foxes or one Bear? Use it before you swap a pet out of your pen. There's no trade window in the game. Pets handed between players are gifts with no protection, so be careful.

    Every Steal An Egg calculator

The pen calculator above does everything at once. If you only need one answer, these focused calculators are quicker and explain the maths behind each part:

    Calculators for single pets

Each pet page shows that pet's base income and rarity from the wiki, a calculator already set up for it (type your pet's weight and mutations), income at different weights, and how long it takes to afford the next treadmill. Pages exist for the most-searched pets whose base income two wiki sources agree on.

    How the maths works

Each pet has a base income and a hidden base weight. Your pet's real income depends on how heavy it is compared to that base weight, times any mutations:

    ratio = your weight ÷ base weight size = ratio^(37/60) when ratio ≤ 125 size = ratio^(2/5) × 125^(13/60) when ratio > 125 income = base income × size × mutations × boosts

So a pet 8 times its base weight earns about 3.6 times its base income, and one 100 times heavier earns about 17 times. Past 125 times, extra weight still helps, but less. The weight calculator explains this step by step.

Worked example: a small mixed pen

Two Foxes at their base weight of 28 kg, both Rainbow + Bloom, and one Dog at 25,000 kg, with the x2 Money gamepass. You have $10K and want the Flame Treadmill.

    1. Fox: base $180/s, size ×1, mutations 1 + 2.5 + 0.25 = ×3.75. Each earns $675/s, so two earn $1.35K/s.
    2. Dog: base $2/s, base weight 25 kg. 25,000 kg is 1,000×, past the cap, so size = ×45.12 and it earns $90.23/s.
    3. Pen: ($1,350 + $90.23) × 2 = $2,880.46/s.
    4. Flame Treadmill: $250K. ($250,000 − $10,000) ÷ $2,880.46 = 83 seconds, about 1m 23s.

    Questions

Where do I find my pet's weight?

On the pet's card in game. It's shown in kg. Type it in exactly, decimals included.

    Is my data sent anywhere?

No. Your pen is saved only in this browser. A share link carries the pen inside the link itself (after the #), so it's never uploaded to us. No accounts and no cookies.

Why is my number different from the game?

Usually because of a wrong base weight, an active boost, or a recent update. Fix the base weight under "Base weight looks wrong?" or switch how mutations stack in settings.

How do I calculate income in Steal An Egg?

For each placed pet, multiply its base income by (weight ÷ base weight) to the power 37/60, then by its mutation multiplier and any boosts such as the x2 Money gamepass. Add up all the pets. This calculator does it for your whole pen.
